New England Roots 

MUSIC, DANCE, AND FOOD:

The Lowell Five Main Stage at the Revolving Museum

5-9pm create your own decorative card with Native American and contemporary symbols. 

5-6:30pm Jesse Red Horse: Native American flute music and cultural presentation.

6:30-7pm Wolf Cry Singers: MicMac, Cherokee, Navajo, Abenaki and Delaware.

7-8pm MicMac Dancer Allan Finnegan.

8-9pm "Ailteg": storyteller Judy Witters and artist Kathleen Cammarata present this Cinderella tale from the Mic Mac tradition.

ART AND CULTURE around Town:

FILM: At The National Park Vistor Center:

7-9pm Smoke Signals

Written by Sherman Alexie, Smoke Signals depicts two Native American boys on a journey of self-discovery. Sundance Film Award-Winner.

COOL CORNER GALLERY

6-8PM  Stories from everyday objects: fiber arts exhibition with Ana & Sonja Lee.

Brew'd Awakenings: Native American drumming featuring Paul Johnson.

 Friends Fabric Art: "Tree of Life"  was introduced to early New Englanders with imported textiles from India.

Life Alive: taste of local organic teas that energize body, mind and spirit.

Second World: short film featuring New England fiddlers & step dancers.
