The Lowell Five Main Stage at the Whistler House Museum of Art

5-6pm  Latin Jazz & Salsa with Matthew Descoteaux & friends

6-7pm    Caribbean sounds on steel drums with Jose Costa

7-8pm     Latin Gypsy Jazz with D'Refael

8-9pm    Try out your dancing shoes with Tango demonstrations

5-8 pm    Crepe paper flower decorations with Girls Inc. and Whistler House

5-9pm     Latin-inspired food tasters from Cobblestones

NEWCOMERS' NIGHT: Enterprise Bank Parking lot, Middle Street (Sponsored by Enterprise Bank, Lowell National Historical Park, The City of Lowell, Greater Merrimack Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Center City Committee  & COOL)

6-8:30pm  Lively Latin Sounds with "The Sugar Kings"

 Come enjoy salsa dancing, cultural booths, and appetizers from local restaurants with other new Lowellians!

Family Programming:

6-9pm     Sombrero decorating & salsa demonstrations with UTEC

6-9pm     Make  your own maracas, diablo masks and circle skirts with the Revolving Museum's Vanguardian Art group

ART AND CULTURE around Town:

FILM: Independent documentary film at The National Park Vistors Center

7:30-9PM  Floating Market  with Q&A with filmmaker Joan Kaufman

Floating Market follows several sailors and their families, on their  journey away from Venezuela to their arrival in Curacao to sell their tropical friuts and  vegetables from wooden boats to locals and tourist to search for economic opportunity.

COOL CORNER GALLERY

 6-8pm  Acclaimed Columbian Artist Norma Esperanza Lopez presents vivid mixed media and oils.

Brew'd Awakenings: Celebrate La Revolucion Cubana, watch a documentary of Fidel Castro, and sip Cuban coffee and enjoy mojitos.

Friends Fabric Art: Get introduced to Remedios Varo's artwork by making a charm , based on some of her surrealist imagery.
