5-6pm TAI CHI (taijiquan) demonstration with Lizzie Upitis.

6-7pm  Kaji Aso Studio Opera Company performs traditional Japanese Art Songs.

7-8pm  Japanese Taiko Drumming with the phenomenal Odaiko New England.

8-9pm  Traditional Japanese flute with Grand Master Shakuhachi player Elizabeth Reian Bennett.

INDEPENDENT FILM : The Brush Art Gallery

5:30pm "Spirited Away" Experience this supernatural Japanese anime adventure! Chihiro and her family wander into a town filled with gods, monsters and witches.  When the unexpected happens, Chihiro must find her out of this strange world.  Oscar Winner: Best Animated Feature . Rated PG

7:30pm  "Mai's America"  When Mai leaves cosmopolitan Hanoi on an exchange program, she expects the America portrayed in Hollywood movies. Instead, she crash lands in rural Mississippi..

where her experiences with self-proclaimed rednecks and South Vietnamese immigrants she meets challenges her long-held ideas about freedom, identity and America.

  • Life Alive will offer Asian-influenced menu items, from 7-7:45pm Grand Master Elizbeth Reian Bennett will play the Shakuhachi.
